(( Almost Cut My Hair by CSNY ))

The Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young song "Almost Cut My Hair" from the 1970 album Deja Vu... I am trying to find out the date it was recorded.  One source (the CSN Box Set) says June 9, 1970 but that can't be right since it had already been released 3 months before that!  Anyone?
